Quality controls are performed first on individual stones and gold, and finally on the finished jewel to ensure the highest quality jewelry.

Each stone is purchased exclusively from suppliers who adhere to the Kimberly Process Scheme, an agreement signed with the UN, governments, the diamond industry and non-governmental organizations to prevent conflict diamonds from being used for illegal purposes.

The stones can only be exported to another country adhering to the process. Each time the diamonds change hands they must be accompanied by a guarantee affixed to the sales invoice.
